Getting startedPhotoshop on the webWith a Photoshop on the web document open in Google Chrome on a Mac

Find Adobe’s shortcut list through [Help] › [Keyboard shortcuts]. This page covers the public help table and the cited procedures; the complete in-app list has not been inspected. Selecting a tool does not perform the drawing, selection, or retouching gesture.

Images and positioningPhotoshop on the webWith a Photoshop on the web document open in Google Chrome on a Mac

Find the documented transform command, the [Move] tool, and image inversion. The transform item explains the terminology difference between Adobe’s Web sources.

Invoke Free Transform
Adobe’s FAQ names this shortcut Free Transform, while the Web shortcut table labels the same ⌥+⌘+T chord “Transform tool”. The sources do not explain the relationship between those labels or establish that pressing the shortcut completes a transformation. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/web/get-set-up/preferences-and-settings/keyboard-shortcuts.html

SelectionsPhotoshop on the webWith a Photoshop on the web document open in Google Chrome on a Mac

Choose selection tools and manage a selection. [Select all] is kept at the scope stated in the keyboard table; its exact target is not specified there.

Select all
The Web keyboard table does not specify what [Select all] targets. The separate [Layer actions] menu description refers to active-layer contents, but it does not link that behavior to this keyboard shortcut. An active-layer or whole-image target has not been confirmed.

The Web procedure also describes [Retouch] › [Clone stamp], the [Sample] choice, and [Set source] in the options bar. This is a modifier within a pointer workflow; pressing Option alone does not complete sampling or painting. The procedure does not document an additional click for this modifier route, so no click gesture is inferred.

Arrangement commandsPhotoshop on the webWith a Photoshop on the web document open in Google Chrome on a Mac

Adobe publishes four front/back commands without naming their target. Their exact target and prerequisites remain unconfirmed.

The English Web table gives this command and its keys without identifying the object it arranges. Application to layers, layer-type restrictions, and the exact prerequisites have not been confirmed. The separate layer-rearrangement procedure describes dragging and does not link these keys to a layer target.

When ⌘+Space is assigned to SpotlightThis assumes ⌘+Space is assigned to Spotlight. With multiple input sources, some macOS versions or settings may use this combination to switch input sources instead. If that happens, check the Spotlight and Input Sources assignments in [System Settings] › [Keyboard] › [Keyboard Shortcuts] and change the conflicting shortcut. Apple’s note on the same source page confirms that these shortcuts can change input sources in some macOS versions when you use multiple input sources to type in different languages.

Settings and permissionsOperating system

For Mac-wide settings, open [System Settings] and enter a setting name in the search field. For app permissions, go to [System Settings] › [Privacy & Security] and open the feature you want to check, such as [Files & Folders]. To open an app’s own settings, bring that app to the front.

Open System Settings
When ⌘+Space is assigned to SpotlightSearch for the app by name in Spotlight, then open it. If the shortcut changes the input source, check the Spotlight and Input Sources shortcut assignments. To find a Mac-wide setting, use the search field in [System Settings]. For permissions, choose [Privacy & Security] in the sidebar, then open the feature you want to check. The settings search and permission paths are documented in Apple’s Sequoia 15 and Tahoe 26 guides (https://support.apple.com/en-us/guide/mac-help/mchl8d10839d/15.0/mac/15.0, https://support.apple.com/en-us/guide/mac-help/mchl8d10839d/26/mac/26, https://support.apple.com/en-us/guide/mac-help/mchld5a35146/15.0/mac/15.0, https://support.apple.com/en-us/guide/mac-help/mchld5a35146/26/mac/26).

About this page

Checked / Updated

Editing in Photoshop on the web involves choosing tools, working with selections and layers, and adjusting canvas zoom. This collection gathers the Mac shortcuts for those tasks, with coverage limited to Google Chrome. Windows and desktop Photoshop are outside its scope.

Coverage follows Adobe’s public shortcut table and the cited web procedures. The complete in-app shortcut list has not been inspected. Read each command’s conditions where Photoshop, Chrome and macOS share keys: their priority has not been tested. The entries are based on documentation checks; specific macOS, Chrome and app builds have not been tested. Version choices do not establish compatibility, and JIS and US are display options without physical symbol-key testing.

This page covers Photoshop on the web in Google Chrome on a Mac. Adobe’s English MAC-column assignments and the cited Web procedures were checked on 2026-11-02.

Photoshop key evidence is documentation only. No macOS Sequoia 15 or Tahoe 26 release, Chrome version, app build, physical keyboard, or browser runtime was tested. OS and browser version choices do not imply those combinations were verified.

JIS and US are keyboard display choices. Symbol positions have not been checked on either physical layout; no undocumented layout-specific alternatives or extra Shift keys have been added.

Shared macOS and Chrome commands apply in their stated contexts. An overlapping app, browser, or OS chord does not establish which command will receive it in Chrome.

Adobe also lists ⌘+S for Save. The existing shared [Save the document] item supplies that command here.

The public table assigns M to both marquee tools and G to both Paint bucket and Gradient. It separately lists ⇧+M and ⇧+G for switching; it gives no exclusive focus or last-used-tool rule.

The four front/back commands and [Select all] have limited target information in the public keyboard table. Their individual notes state what remains unconfirmed.

For the complete in-app shortcut inventory, Adobe’s keyboard page gives [Help] › [Keyboard shortcuts]. Its FAQ describes an entry through [Learn how to use Photoshop on the web] › [Keyboard shortcuts]. These documented routes have not been checked in the running app.

Check the app and OS version and your keyboard layout. Behavior can depend on your settings and active app. Each action links to its official source.
