Chrome Keyboard Shortcuts (Mac)
Google Chrome · Current version (source checked October 21, 2026)
About this list and its requirements
/ Checked / Updated
In desktop Google Chrome on a Mac, keyboard shortcuts help you return to what you were reading, whether by reopening a closed tab or revisiting a page in the current tab’s history. To find a word on the page itself, use the Find Bar. Context matters: some commands require the Find Bar to be open, while word movement and deletion apply within a text field.
The Chrome-specific entries have documentation checks dated October 21, 2026, recorded for the current Chrome version and macOS Tahoe 26; they have no separate check for macOS Sequoia 15. Shared macOS commands retain their own source-check dates. These records describe documentation checks; no hardware or layout-specific testing was performed. Follow the key names in the official help, since printed characters can vary between keyboards.
Covers desktop Chrome on a Mac. Chrome source-check records use the macOS Tahoe 26 and current-version axes. A separate version-specific check for macOS Sequoia 15 has not been performed.
Keys follow the logical key names in the official help. JIS and US layouts do not imply identical key positions or legends. No layout-specific hardware testing has been performed.
English Chrome quotations were matched to the supplied official-page capture on October 21, 2026. These are documentation checks, not hardware tests. See each shared operating-system operation for its inherited source and check date.

About this section
Find keyboard shortcuts for reopening tabs, finding pages in your history, and searching within a webpage in desktop Google Chrome on a Mac. Start with four essentials, then browse by tabs, bookmarks, and other things you want to work with. English quotations were matched to Google’s official documentation for this operating system on October 21, 2026. Source-check records describe documentation checks; hardware testing has not been performed. Each operation keeps its conditions, including text-field and Find Bar contexts. Shared operating-system operations retain their earlier verification records.
